Tiffani Bachus, R.D.

Tiffani Bachus, R.D. is a Nutrition and Fitness Consultant who specializes in weight management, sports nutrition, child obesity and wellness education.

Tiffani currently provides nutrition counseling and personal training in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. She offers her clients nutrition planning and motivational tools to achieve their nutrition and health goals as well as a progressive fitness training program that includes weight training, Pilates reformer instruction, aqua, sports conditioning and stretching to help them gain strength and energy, lose weight, and achieve enhanced performance. She also teaches spinning, a weight resistance class and a Pilate’s reformer class at the JCC (www.vosjcc.org). In addition she has recently developed the nutrition component of an 8-week weight loss program that incorporates nutrition education, goal setting, behavioral modifications and meal planning. This program is unique in that it’s not a DIET but a program that will help you achieve a lasting healthy lifestyle.

She received her B.S. in Nutrition from California State University of Northridge and completed her AFAA certification as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She went on to complete her Dietetic Internship at the University of Northern Colorado, and completed all training and testing to become a Registered Dietitian. She believes that nutrition and fitness go hand-in-hand and continued her fitness education by completing Pilates training through Polestar as well as becoming a Certified Johnny G. Spinning Instructor.

Tiffani not only is involved with Fitness as an Instructor, she has competed nationally as a Fitness Competitor, winning the Fitness Texas Regional 2004 and placing 5th at the National Fitness America Pageant, November 2004. She has appeared on ESPN International and can be seen in Oxygen, Natural Muscle and Fitness & Physique magazine.

Tiffani is a member of the American Dietetics Association (ADA), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), IDEA Health and Fitness Association and ADA’s practice group of sports nutritionist (SCAN). For more info, check out www.tiffanibachus.com

Erin Macdonald has been a nutrition, fitness, and wellness coach for over 16 years. She specializes in weight management, sports, cardiovascular and wellness nutrition, as well as women’s health. With Erin’s coaching, her clients are able to achieve and maintain healthy weight without dieting, hunger, or deprivation, optimize sports performance, improve energy levels, sleep better, improve digestion, and reduce risk for conditions like diabetes and heart disease.

Erin has appeared as a featured nutrition expert in DVDs and speaker at nutrition seminars, community health expos, and worksite wellness programs. She has authored numerous articles and is a Health Advisory Board member for Nutricula Magazine (www.nutricula-u.com) and blogs regularly at www.completewellnessnow.com. She is passionate about cooking and recipe development, marrying good health with amazing flavor.

Her most important achievement is as a wife (17 years and counting) and mother to her 4 boys, one of which was just born this past January. Passionate about preventing and reversing the childhood obesity epidemic in this country, Erin volunteers in the schools by talking to the students and organizing health fairs and jog-a-thons.
