Clarifying Shampoo Using a clarifying shampoo once or twice a month is a great way to get rid of the product buildup that accumulates and bring out your hair’s natural shine. I always use one right before I get my hair colored. There are quite a few to choose from, including, Fekkai Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo, Suave Clarifying Shampoo, Aubrey Organics Green Tea Clarifying Shampoo, and Emmet Cooper Haircare Clarify Wash. You can always make your own version by applying 1 tbs. apple cider vinegar to your hair and scalp after shampooing; leave on for 5 minutes and then rinse and follow with conditioner.
