How to do a Piriformis Stretch

Do you have tight glutes? Are your hamstrings a little hamstrung? Does your lower back ache? Any aches, pains and tightness you feel along your entire posterior chain (neck to feet) could be cause by a tight piriformis muscle.

This muscle is located behind your gluteus maximus, connecting the spine to the top of the femur. It’s small but packs a big punch. Learning how to stretch it the right way will go a long way in making you feel so much better. Take 10-12 minutes every day to do the following stretches.
