We love pumpkin pretty much as much as the next pumpkin fanatic. We love the spices that go along with all things pumpkin – but really, our favorite spice of them all is CINNAMON! Yes, we are playing “favorite child” over here
There’s just something so special about cinnamon. It’s warm and makes anything feel like comfort food. And, it makes anything sweet taste sweeter, even if you lower the amount of sugar.

There’s a secret ingredient alert, too! If you’ve been following us for a while, you might know what it already is. Any time we make a pumpkin baked item, we love to add either organic orange zest or a few drops of wild orange essential oil. The orange is subtle, but makes you go “hmmm” when you’re eating it.
Besides adding a major flavor dimension, orange zest is super healthy! The zest is full of anti-inflammatory compounds! Bonus!

Ok, ok, there’s another secret ingredient.
